Microplastics for Breakfast (MP4B) is an independently and privately initiated interdisciplinary initiative founded in 2023 that emerged from microplastics research in the Adriatic Sea and the broader Adriatic region. MP4B connects researchers, policymakers, industry, and civil society to strengthen regional collaboration, exchange knowledge on micro- and nanoplastics across environmental compartments, and promote informed action through community building and dedicated events.
