InPlasTwin at MicoplasticDays 2026

Pia Leban from JSI, PhD student of Dr. Janja Vidmar, participated in Microplastic Days 2026 held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from 3 to 5 February 2026. The activity consisted of a flash presentation accompanied by a poster presentation entitled “Development of an Extraction Protocol for Nanoplastics in Agricultural Soils”. The aim of the activity was to advance the scientific understanding of nanoplastics in soils by presenting recent methodological developments achieved within the project. The purpose was to share innovative approaches for isolating and characterizing nanoplastics from complex agricultural soil matrices, addressing a critical analytical gap in environmental research.
