Foodscale Hub’s team, Gordana Racic and Olivera Stojilovic Trivunic, attended event “Microplastics for Breakfast,” in Belgrade, held on 10th of April.
This event gathered various stakeholders working on micro and nanoplastics from Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, providing an opportunity for the exchange of the latest knowledge and experiences in this field.
We enjoyed hearing the presentations from each member, learning about their key focus areas and projects, and sharing our own. In her 3-minute pitch, Gordana Racic highlighted the importance of dissemination and science communication within the InPlasTwin project. This project aims to enhance expertise regarding micro and nanoplastics in the agri-food sector, with a specific focus on strawberries. Alongside the FSH team, Dr. Milica Velimirovic from VITO in her presentation From Macro to Nanoplastics and Beyond: Advances in Analytical Techniques mentioned a project and its positive impact.
Introducing Foodscale Hub to a group with similar interests was a valuable experience, allowing us to demonstrate our commitment to connecting industry and academia through collaborative European research and innovation initiatives 💡
